Invited Review: (Non-halal) El Casa Wine & Dine Restaurant

Recently, there are more themed restaurant coming up in Penang especially in town area, all the heritage house had been converted into restaurant. This very special Mediterranean themed restaurant is one of the upcoming and hot restaurant in the list of MUST try out :)

The cozy environment is very suitable for wine and chill out with friend and family. Moreover the food they serve MSG-FREE. So it definitely a good place to bring old folks.

Very Mediterranean look with all the blue and white paint. The view from front of El Casa Wine & Dine Restaurant.

Very cool outdoor seating for smoker. FREE WIFI available in the restaurant.

The interior of the food place.
Planing for you romantic dinner? El Casa might be your choice.

El Casa offers a few flower tea in their menu as well. So even you are not a wine drinker you can enjoy the hot flower aroma tea to help you relax.

Homemade Puree of Forest Mushroom Soup (RM6.90)

Tomato soup - Daily Chef’s Homemade Special Western Cream Soup (RM6.90). Personally i love tomato soup so with this sour soup as my starter it definitely help me enjoy all the food to come.

El Casa salad (RM11.90) short of some ingredient the other day, so the presentation a bit out. Homemade Chicken Au Gratin (RM17.90), love it cause the chicken was so juicy and tasty. Moreover they serve with my childhood favorite chip curry potato chip.

Pan-Roasted Fillet of Norwegian Salmon (RM27.90). Crispy salmon skin, soft, tender and juicy meat serve with their delicios smash potato yum yum :) See how juicy and cheesy the Homemade Chicken Au Gratin was? It was soaked in creamy cheese sauce and bake in over.

Spaghetti Seafood Cabonate (RM18.90). I love this dish as well, very creamy cabonara sauce and 1 slice of over back garlic bread. SUPER GOOD !!! although the dish is simple but El Casa show it skill on a simple dish like this.

Sirloin Steak 180 gm RM28.90)

Pan-Roasted Seabass Fillet with Arrabiata Sauce (RM19.90)

Charcoal Grilled Hawaii ChickenRM13.90)

Home Desserts (RM5.90)

Overall experience here was great, alot of laughter and joy with all my friends. Foods serve were nice. With such a cozy and romantic ambient, I can imagine that this place very suitable for a big group of people to join in.
