D'Dapor New Age Malay cuisine at Penang Beach Street

D'Dapor is a New age Malay cuisine power house located at Logan Heritage and they just next to Maybank. You wouldn't miss this restaurant. for the moment they still haven't had their signboard. So temporary they are using a banner to display their shop name.

This is definately a Halal restaurant. So next time when you have no clue on where to find classy Malay restaurant, think of D'Dapor :)

Night shoot at Logan Heritage.

The front entrance to D'Dapor.

They are having a few promote at the moment.

Interior of the shop.

Famous Kari Kepala Ikan(RM38.00), a hot favorite of the locals. Fish –head is cooked with curry spices, chililies, onions and tamarind sauce in coconut milk and served with egg plant, ladies finger and tomato.

Telur Bawang (RM6.50)

Kailan with mushroom (RM8.80)

These 3 is one set.

Kari Ketam (RM25.00)

Udang Buluh Perindu (RM18.00), a delight for the eyes and taste buds! Prawns stir-fried with a spicy sauce.

Ayam pandan (RM12.80), chunks of chicken emat marinated with ginger, turmeric, onions and garlic, wrap in pandan leaf and deep-fried.

There 3 are one set.

Overall makan experience is good as this is a air conditional restaurant, friendly staff even though middle high price but location wise it is still ok.
